Changer TYPE-T10
OLTC Type T10 is a 3-phase, single compartment, externally mounted compact on-load tap changer of rating 11kV 100A with 9pos Linear. T10 works on the principle of high speed transition resistance and is suitable for both star and delta connected Transformers.
Advantages
- This mini OLTC has an Electronic Control, which has also contributed to the miniaturisation. This control is mounted on the door and carries the display visible through the LCD display.
- The tap changer is mounted on the transformer by taking out leads via the epoxy cast terminal board of the tap changer, which is supplied with OLTC.
- The tap changer is protected by an oil surge protective relay (OSR) which is connected to a conservator.
Key Features
- The switch chamber and the drive mechanism are separated by a metal sheet partition.
- The fixed contacts are mounted on lead embedded epoxy cast phase boards.
- The moving contact slides on both sides of these fixed contacts and selects the tap.
